I have chosen as examples one meat dish and one vegetarian. Many diets do not cater for vegetarians. By using this book vegetarians will find exciting new ways to prepare meals and meat eaters will discover just how delicious non meat meals can actually be.

Cooking has always been a passion of mine so I have read many many cookery books of all types over the years and can truthfully say that The Metabolic Cooking book is revolutionary in its approach and makes fascinating reading.
Here’s exactly how The Metabolic Cooking Book works
The first thing you need to do is to ensure you have the right mindset to be receptive to a new approach to accept new ideas many of which will appear to contradict all the traditional thoughts. Dave and Karine really do sympathise with people who have spent years trying all the old and tired weight loss diets we are all familiar with. Everything you need to make this successful is provided in the book, including lists of ingredients, charts and critically important, the reasons why the recipes work.
After reading the explanation behind every step that’s taken, I consider that their formula is the “cant lose” method of weight loss.
What are the BAD things about Dave and Karine’s The Metabolic Cooking Book?
Just like every product or book I have ever reviewed there are flaws. I can see many readers being overwhelmed by how much reading they might have to do, thinking there is too much to learn, much of which may be completely new concepts. You will in the early days have to make some effort, BUT the results are spectacular.
And how about the GOOD things about The Metabolic Cooking Book?
Many of the recipes are very simple, the layout of the book is easy to follow, with every aspect of metabolic cooking having its own section. Dave & Karine cover every possible angle and provide ALL the information you need. The book applies to everyone, meat eater, fish eater and vegetarians and non dieters alike. It’s comprehensive and completely different to any other cookery book I have found
Overall, what do I think?
In my view The Metabolic Cooking Book is the best no fluff guide on exactly how to achieve your desired weight, the book is packed from beginning to end with useful information, little known nutritional facts and cooking techniques and recipes. If you want to lose this is the way to do it.
I am impressed by the recipes and the fact that its all good healthy foods, this is not just a diet book its an eating plan for life book. You will no longer feel tired and listless, you will wake in the morning feeling full of energy and start the day with a spring in your step. I do hope my webpage has been of help

10 Rules of Metabolic Cooking
So you have tried the cabbage diet, the grapefruit diet, you have bought the latest slimming drink, you have taken slimming pills, but nothing has worked!
If you have answered yes to any of the above don’t worry because Dave Ruel and Karine Losier have devised a recipe book which will show you the way to obtain your dream figure. Dave and Katrine reveal how the 10 Rules of Metabolic Cooking will break the cycle of weight loss/weight gain. A weight management programme which guarantees that the weight lost will not return. They have devised quick easy recipes many of which can be prepared beforehand.
These are the ten magic rules other cookbooks don’t tell you.
Rule 1
Eat frequently, the ideal is every 2/3 hours that you are up and about. The eating pattern should be three main meals and three snacks. Its not just about what you eat its also about how much and when you eat it, your body is a bit like a fire, you need to keep feeding it to keep it burning fat.
Rule 2
is all about protein. You need to eat a complete source of protein at each meal, and at least 15gms every time. Protein causes the body to expend a high amount of calories simply be breaking it down, thus protein is essential for any successful weight loss programme.
Rule 3
explains the value of healthy fats and why depriving the body of them will provoke fat storage. Healthy fats raise the metabolism and helps to the body to burn off fats, illogical as it may seem, 5grms of fats should be eaten with most meals. This is easy, by using certain cooking oils and eating oily fish you will meet your 5grm target as well as help to protect yourself against cancer, heart disease and many other ailments.
Rule 4
Choosing the correct carbohydrates, you need a minimum of 10grms per meal. Contrary to widely held beliefs eating carbohydrates will not make you fat provided, you are consuming the right ones in the correct quantities
Rule 5
Vegetables. This is a great rule because you can eat lots of them, you don’t have to count the calories, in fact you must eat plenty of them to give your body the minerals and vitamins it needs, at least 4/6 cups a day. They form a vital part of any diet and the beauty of vegetables is that you can eat them with almost anything.
Rule 6
Eat whole foods whenever possible. Whole foods have their entire nutritional value intact and eating them will leave you feeling full and satisfied. If your body is deprived of whole foods you may well be missing out on the fibre essential for a healthy body, fibre is needed to ensure your digestive and elimination systems are functioning correctly.
Rule 7
Vary your nutrient sources and ratios, don’t let your body become accustomed to the same foods. Variety is the spice of life, avoid boredom by rotating and varying your nutritional sources. The Metabolic Cooking Book is designed to bring you a wide range of fat burning simple recipes .
Rule 8
Cut the junk, making good food decisions is critical for not only losing those unwanted pounds but for general good health. Junk foods are full of everything that is bad for you, refined sugars, processed rubbish and transfats all with no nutritional value whatever so your body’s response is to add more fat.
Rule 9
Always be prepared, set aside a regular time each week or month to make meals in advance and freeze them, so that when you come home too tired to do the necessary preparation and cooking you don’t have an excuse for straying from your diet. This is one of the most usual reasons why people fail. Using a slow cooker is also a clever ploy as it will do most of the work for you. Lack of time is the enemy of dieters. Almost all the easy recipes in this book can be made in advance.
Rule 10
Don’t make it more complicated than it really is. It’s a common error that people make, to try to be too precise, weighing and measuring and counting every calorie, people think this guarantees success but the opposite is true. It will add to your stress level and stress will only add on pounds of unwanted fat.
Metabolic Cooking – Inspired by Dave Ruel and Karine Losier
My aim is to create an honest review of The Metabolic Cooking Book. After reading the actual book from cover to cover I found out some amazing facts.
One of the major blocks to even starting a diet is that we all have the perception that diets are boring and difficult. This book dispels that idea completely. We are constantly seeking something new, I believe I have found it and I want to share this with you.
The book explains all about harnessing the power of the Metabolism to achieve your dietary goals. You learn about Metabolic Thermo Charge, the Metabolic Adaptation Phenomenon and How to Boost Your Metabolism, all of which enable you to burn fat quickly.
So after committing ourselves to a diet and getting excited about the anticipated results, we find that having lost weight in the first few weeks, we suddenly reach a plateau and the weight loss stops. As a result we lose momentum and the drive to carry on with the diet. This book explains why we plateau and how to eliminate this and thus continue with a steady weight loss. Another reason why we find diets so disappointing is that many diets, because of their very nature , when we reach our optimum weight, inevitably the pounds pile back on.
By following the 10 Rules of Metabolic Cooking we are shown how easy and enjoyable it is to keep those pounds at bay
